First time poster and first time making syrup this year. I tapped 8 trees - was looking to get ~1.5-2 gallons; enough for the table plus giveaways for next Christmas. I think the season is finally over (one last bucket check this morning) and I ended up with about 6.5 gallons - yikes!!! Anyway, it was good learning experience and the syrup is really good. I still need to blend and can it. I have a bunch of questions I'll post in the syrup section so I'm looking forward to whatever advice you folks can give.
