arch board

I live near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I've been looking for ever for a place to buy arch board for my homemade arch I'm building. Is there another word that it's called? I have all the fire clay and fire brick already. Just trying to get the arch board.

Maple Guys will ship it out quickly. If you can find a art supplier in your area they have a material that is used in kiln that will work in your evaporator. Good Luck. Lee

Only place I can find is in Montreal. Don't really want to get it shipped. Stuff is probley super brittle

Awesome company very good response here in the states just couple days you will have it. i dont think board is brittle but cant have flame beating right on ot from what i hear so cover with blanket

Think I'm going to line everything in arch board then cover everything with firebrick.

Have not been able to find anywhere around ottawa or near ottawa that even knows what I'm talking about. Is it actually called ceramic fiber board or mineral wool board?

Or use cement backer board from Home Depot. Not the same thing, but it's an adequate first layer.
