Pulled taps yesterday. Peepers are out, sap not running(even though 27 Sat night) and started getting a little cloudy. Only got 75 gals since Thurs. Will boil that off today so I can switch the evap around and do the clean up on Tues or Wed. Good year overall. Should be around 70 gal of syrup when all done.

I have one amazing run also. 6 taps on 5/16 into their own 30gal drum. Gave me 18 gal from Fri to Sat. Almost a shame to untap it .

Do you have any on 3/16? I just removed all my other tubing, mains and 5/16, going to rebuild my entire system with 3/16 IT WORKS so I will move my main down the mountain hopefully can get everything into one tote tank maybe 1 or 2 buckets.

No 3/16. Might try it if I have to retube some of my steeper runs. The new 30 tap run that I hoped to have up this past year doesn't have that much elevation drop.

Did final cleanup yesterday. Got 3 1/2 gals of syrup out of what was left in the evap. This brings us up to 73 1/2 gals for the year. Best year we've had. Already planning on next years improvements. For this addiction there's never an "off season".

The 3/16 really works!
