Can you use an altimeter on I phone to determine slope??

I tried several Iphone apps but only the free ones and they aren't accurate enough to be of much use. If there's a good one I'd be willing to pay for it but I am not optimistic.

If you're just looking to measure slope (as opposed to elevation), then a good iPhone app is "Theodolite". Lots of nice features.
