Anybody out there got a fiberglass 8inch pressure vessel that they would like to part with?

Check with Matt Roy. He had one that Theron gave to him. I'm not sure if he still has it or if he gave it back to Theron.

Jerry- Were using all the fiberglass ones but I have two of the seprotec stainless ones if one of them will work for you. Ones with the liner around the membrane and then the recirc pump on top.

Theron is one of those seprotec housings something that I might be able to plumb into my RO? I would be interested in one if it could work.

Theron,I made a pvc pressure vessel for my nephew, I think I have it near where I wanted, but I have a few concerns. I sent you a PM.
William, I check my privates every morning. lol

Russ- You probly could. One of them has a bad seal which is pretty expensive if you can find on like 500 bucks. The other was working but then went to passing sugar bad and I think what happened is that there is a rubber seal on top of the membrane that blew out. That one might be fairly easy to fix. They are kind of weird setups with a metal sleeve inside them around the membrane. Theron

I wish we lived closer so that I could take a look at them and see if is something that I want to mess with. What I want to do is add an 8" tower to my RO and get rid of the 4" that's there now. I don't want to do something that is too Mickey Mouse and add problems that I don't need.

Come on Russ, the only way to go is Mickey Mouse, it makes you sit down have a boiling soda and realize where you went wrong.

They are pretty rinky dink I think Russ. I couldn't really make them work for me. Weird setup with metal sleeve around membrane and One leaked around a seal and the other one blew something out and passed sap. Theron

With my full time job and other time consuming things to keep the sap flowing, the RO is one of the things that I can start and walk away from. I feel that it's more important to walk the woods and fix vacuum leaks.
