So my terrain is such that I need to introduce some ladders next year, but I am using an AC-powered Guzzler at the sugar shack so its not going to help (IMO, pls let's not argue about this point.)
I am imagining a box at a low point in my bush. The box contains a pump, a power source (DC?, Solar?), a light (to prevent freezing), a Y Strainer (to prevent ice crystals getting to the diaphragm). I assume the box is insulated.
The power source should be sufficient for at least 24 hours, better 30 hours.
Suggestions? And, what height lift of 1" line could it achieve meeting all the requirements above?
