sap is going nuts

Barely above freezing here today 34° and sap is running harder than it has all year. My trees are on a north slope and have only had one or two good run days until today. Conditions look similar for tomorrow so it could be a busy weekend. 34 taps out and only 5 QTS of syrup so far.

its running hard on this side of pa too....but my sugar is down. i think i liked it better with half the sap at double the brix. i have 150 gallon of 1.3 im not real sure im gonna boil. wonder if wifey will let me "borrow" the ro from under the sink

beaglebriar, it sounds like you are in the same situation as me. Where are you located?

I'm in Rome PA on the NY/PA border. First year boiling on my own place guess I will double my tap count next year and see what happens.
