Some trees still running o.k. some not at all. Question could you pull tap and clean out exsisting hole maybe run some more.

NO,others will explain unless you plan on cutting it down,the tree is healing itself and will damage it were almost done anyway

If you take your drill and run it into the hole and drill another 1/4" deeper, you will get another few days of sap run, though it's usually not worth the effort. It also is not recommended because it further stresses the trees.

Thanks, for the info I'm just going to just pull taps don't want to stress trees.:)
