Motley - sap running very well

Nine miles south of motley, trees are running very heavy. Boiling out hopefully 50 gals. Today. Also need to thin out some i boiled to far last week. I understand i can add boiled sap to it to thin it out.

You can thin syrup with sap. You need to bring the sap and syrup back to a boil when you do. If you don't , your syrup will spoil!

If you ever find yourself without sap and need to thin some syrup out, you can also use distilled water. (not tap water though)

Running near Fergus Falls too. I noticed my two silvers I use as indicator trees in the hard had great flow yesterday. This morning I checked my sugars and pull about 75 gallons off 140 taps. Weather looks like it will slow down or stop the trees til this weekend, but if we hit the forecast highs on Saturday and Sunday, the could really bust loose.
