I was wondering with alot of traders having darker syrup at the beginning of the season, i think i want to drain my flue pan and filter the niter buildup. I have already done this to my syrup pan, changed it from channel B to A to C, and filtered it all. So question is if i drain my flue pan & filter , will it screw up the established gradient?

Your gradient will come back. Our pan doesn't have a way to stop the syrup pan from re-mixing with the flue pan. Just fire it back up and start feeding it sap again.
