I am going to have a new front pan built for the next season because I have managed to burn my pan twice because sometimes I am just a bonehead and forget to open the valve. I have a 2 X 6 set up with raised flues.
Currently, my front pan channels run forward and back following the length of the arch. I am thinking of going to a cross flow pan. Looking for experiences on cross flow pans. Good idea?
