I wonder how many other sugar makers did the same as me. 4 years ago I up graded my 250 RO to a 800 because I needed the extra capacity. I pondered getting a 600 but with my small evaporator(since added a Steam Away on my 2.5X8) I decided to purchase a 800 which has a 60 inch membrane. I packed so much sugar in it last year that Lapierre couldn't get the flow rates back to normal with their after season wash. I am still better than a 40 inch membrane; Tower can be reduced to a 40 incher by taking off the top section. I have thought of buying another 60 inch membrane but have since learned that no one makes them any more and have yet to find a spare. Anyone else run into this situation? Could use any suggestions.
