How often should I have crossover drop (I'm not sure the correct term for these) from dry line to wet line on 1.25" mainline?

You want either a manifold or whip/tee every time a new main enters the conductor system. That is where you separate the sap from the air (gases). A manifold has a large central area, vertical, and the sap falls while the air rises. The bottom of the manifold tees to the wet line and the top tees to the dry. I used to make then that way, I now use a simpler method, where there is a tee in the main, out a few feet from the wet/dry. The side outlet of the tee faces up. To that a whip (same size tubing as the main) goes straight up, then curves to enter the dry line. The straight thru on the tee, continues to the wet line, usually at a Y to help the flow of sap enter with less turbulence. I find this method cheaper and simpler, but some claim it is less effective, but they seem to work good for me.
