I just walked by the window and saw this outside. At 1:25PM. Poor buggers gotta be cold and hungry, I'll have to throw some extra food out there this afternoon.

Two of them only about 10 feet away for the first one, and 20 feet away for the second. Pretty cool though.

Aw hell they aren't cold maybe hungry. I got them in my yard every night hanging around the bird feeder waiting for seeds to drop.

Parker come on over, well feed you one of the siblings and put you up in a warm room too. You won't have to sleep outside.
The neat thing about those two are they are actually part of this years triplets from the mother.
She is a monster, and she had triplets this year and last two years has had twins. Pretty amazing, I've never heard of triplets but she did it.
The were born on my neighbors pasture last spring and they saw it.

This is the way nature goes,(whitetaildeer) the more man trys to control their numbers the more they will produce. Fifty years ago they were all only having one ,then it was twins and now it is trips.

I understand that a real healthy doe in her prime often has 3. There just aren't that many who are real healthy.

I always thought 2 was pretty much max, but obviously not.
Here is a pretty good picture of Mom and the trips.

Here is another funny one from a couple of years ago, remember all that snow we got in march, well this was about 1 week of them being hunkered down, there were zero tracks on my land till the snow started to settle down a bit. Almost like hand feeding. Spring of '04 twins.

She has got to be a good healthy Doe to have trips and be that big. Plus she had to raise them on her milk for a while. Also there mus tbe some good feed around there for her.

I think part of the feed is on my end, go through a 50 pound bag in no time, plus they are not the only patrons. There is usually quite a steady stream of them coming by to grab a bite.
I got hundreds of pictures, if anyone is looking for a good scouting camera I really recommend the cuddeback, nice pictures and batteries stay working for a while, unlike others I have had.
Here is a couple of funny ones:

Those deer are fat as hogs. They can't be all that hungry. It's good to see dear in that condition this time of year, There isn't much that mother nature can throw at them now that they can't handle.Another mild winter is a good thing for the deer herd!

Yes, any of the deer I've seen stop by for a bite all look healthy. Nice to see them all doing well. I think I am just helping the neighbors shoot bigger bucks. It is fun anyway.
I was going to make a 1/2 acre or so food plot in the very back of my land to see what that would draw in. We got some very very thick stuff behind my lot and the deer really hold up in there. I've walked through it a couple of times and just miserable to walk through so you know they love it.
The deer trails out there look like skidder trails.

Is the pellet gun effective at that range?? I just looked at the pictures and think you can jump out of the watch tower and land on the back of 1 or 2...
