Anyone using the 120 volt CDL small RO? Any opinions on it? How many amps does it draw?

Have had a hobby 250 for 4 years now. Bought it used one year old. I later added a 3rd membrane to it to concentrate a little higher each pass. It works great and the powerful recirculation pump is what makes these machines stand out from others in that size and price. I routinely run 2000 gal of sap or more a day thru it and have never had it plug to the point i had to stop early and wash. Usualy i will run my 1650 gal tank of 1.5% to 2% and bring it up to about 5 or 6 percent. I often do that overnight or while im at my day job. Then i feed that thru again and bring it to 10 to 12% as it goes up to my feedtank and will stay well ahead of my 2x8 evap. I plan to change my 3 membranes to a single 8 inch for next season. As for amp draw around 16 or 17 i think. It runs fine on a dedicated 20 amp circuit

I have one also and it runs 17 amp on 120 volt. Or 6.5 amp on 240 volt on the hobby 250 model

I have a CDL 250 and it works great. It seemed like the right size for our 275 tap operation. Moreso it seemd we would grow out of the 125 sooner than later. At the beginning of the season I was a little concerned we may made a mistake and the 250 would be too large. Maybe for the first boil...we would like to make sure we have about 350-400 gallons of sap to make sure we had enough permeate for cleaning. Turns out we were never short permeate and very happy with the 250. Looking forward to using this year..maybe this week if the weather holds true. I believe the amps on the 250 is about 15, but it wants to be wired for a 20 amps.
