Sugar Content of Sap

Has anyone noticed that the sugar content in the sap this year has been running lower then normal ?
Mine has been in the 2.5% range mainly tap Sugar maples a few reds are mixed in



146 taps on sap sack holders
Homemade oil evaporator
36 gallons of syrup on a yearly average for the last few years ....
1 understanding wife and 8 kids to help with a handful of neighbor kids that enjoy helping also

I've noticed that. Perhaps it's just the early season.
