Candy Molds

Do I need to purchase rubber molds to make syrup candy?

Rubber molds are the way to go. Been using the grey color ones from CDL and they work great. Good luck to ya

It is possible to put drops of candy on a cookie sheet or maybe wax paper. If selling I would recommend molds.

I would recomend getting a couple molds and build upon them in the future. If taken care of and kept out of sun light they will last a long time. I can't remember for sure but i'd say some of mine are around 20 yrs old.
