Got all vacuum lines tapped in three feet of snow, first run came and new RO would not begin to start. Had maple media day for Chautauqua county maple producers showing at my sugar house on Friday the thirteenth. Boiled raw sap to sweeten pans Thursday night and scorched a pan and burnt syrup due to my inability to hook up auto-draw properly. Somehow with help from brother got cleaned up and rolling Friday morning and leader evaporator got new RO going by Friday evening. Everything went well for media day and made a lot of syrup yesterday. Thanks nick Wendel for your support. Looks to be a good season. Time to chase vacuum leaks!
