Would like any suggestion how to clean ss flat pans I tried subbing and not coming clean what the heck. My friends say it is sugar sand tried various chemicals and home remedies .

I have used Milkstone Acid rinse with really good results. Make sure you warm it up and let it sit for a while. i buy it at Fleet Farm up there. I also had fairly good luck with lemon juice (undiluted) really brings a shine to the pans and it is more acidic than vinegar. Agin warmer is better. Good Luck

LF is spot on.
TSC has the orange colored soap stone remover that works well.

The other thing is a die grinder with the plastic biscuits for cleaning metal surfaces. Keep the head speed in mid range so as not to scratch the surface or it will be worse next time. If you can find the green finger head that works great!

Warm it up is a huge plus. burn papers or get coals out of a wood stove and set in evap.

take it to your local body shop have them use baking soda to blast it. im going to do it this year i have tried other things not working
