Is that per pound or per gallon? I've only seen sap prices per gallon and I know the bulk price is per pound.

dont listen to spud hee rapes sugar makers charging them extraordinary prices HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!
50% is the norm on price per gallon
2%=.32 gal approx every tenth of a percent goes up a penny? or something like that.
there is usually a guide that comes out that gives a guestimate of what you should charge or pay depending on your circumstances

I pay by the bulk price on the chart you find in the maple digest.but if you take 86 and divided it by the sugar content to figure out how many gal.it takes to make a gal of syrup(cost is about$13pergal)...It doesn't work out(the syrup I get doesn't add up.I figured I'm paying about $16-18 per gal of syrup...what I'm I doing wrong?I can't do a 50/50 split if I done get 50%
