I'm a big fan of reusing and repurposing useful stuff. Your shack is a fine example of that. It doesn't look anything like a traditional sugar shack but neither will mine.

I made a 12'x12' sugar shack out of pallets. Took about 24 pallets, plywood, clear plastic and some scrap wood. It took a weekend to construct and only cost about $85. A great, cheap way to put a roof over your head and protect you from the elements.

I cab build up to 200 sqft w/o a permit, have a surplus of pallets, and I'm tired of boiling outside. Great idea on the pallet shacks guys. I am pretty sure I'll have one next year as well.
