Good luck sapping !, ADC ,White Crow
As of 4/10 -135 taps in ( most on Ski's ) 4/11- started running on new taps set in am, but just enough frozen sap in lines to hold up the 135 run, till about 1 pm .Ended 11/12 with 235 taps in so far, with about 175 gals in holding tank ,200 taps more to go and 350 , if I can find my other main line (went down with tree limbs ) under 2 to 3 foot hard pack ...But the good was ...It felt like I was walking on water ! Oh I was ..Frozen water ,lol . Good Luck Again everyone ! Happy Sapping !

super ED, check your dates. You show 4/10, 4/11 and 11/12. I'm confused unless you meant 3/10, 3/11 and 3/12 since you posted today, 3/14. Based on the time of day you posted my guess is that you weren't fully awake (2:59 am).

Wow, I wish I had the farm line tapped! The few trees here at the home/orchard have given a little more than 1 gallon of sap per tap average, and that was when I collected at 2PM. It's flowing pretty good. They're on buckets, and I wish I'd checked the sugar for each tree. You can taste the difference! Oh well, hydrometer (adjusted for temperature) reads 3.1%, for all the sap together; I am not complaining! :D
Good luck to all! Collect tomorrow night for sure. Ran well today and I hope to use the hydrometer to see how the first run is.

My taps are totally dry today. Nothing running in the buckets or tubing.
Tapped over the weekend. 43 buckets out with more to come this week. Ran well Saturday, will collect tonight. Let the boiling begin!!

Where on the hill are you producing? I grew up in West Branch or Route 26 and started making syrup when I was a kid.
