I have a Warren-Rupp WR10 air operated that's cycling real slow. it will pump and move syrup, but it's cycle time is slow. I took it apart and cleaned it, and everything looked fine. Pressure on the compressor is as high as it can go. Any ideas why? They're a simple pump, so it's not like there's much to go wrong with it. I noticed the last time I was using it that it was pumping slow, but forgot about it until I went to pump syrup last night.
Thanks for the help.

I am not familiar with Warren-Rupp pumps but I would guess one of two things. Either something is restricting the amount of air flow or the mechanism that "trips" the switching from one side to the other is sticking and/or needs lubrication.

ldick. You are right on the money. I checked the air flow by putting a blower on there and it's getting plenty of air. Usually I take the sides off the pump to clean it out (syrup contact parts), but Friday night I decided to take it apart completely. There's two s/s shafts: one has the diaphragms connected on each end and the other shaft slides back and forth pushing the diaphragms back and forth. That rod was binding up real bad. I could barely slide it myself. I pulled both rods out, cleaned them up, used silicone lubricant and slide them back in. They moved a whole lot better and now we're back in business.
Thanks for following up with this. I was going to update the post this morning with my results, so it could help someone else in the future.
