Just tapped

First year tapping on my own. Made maple syrup with my Dad growing up on the farm. 20 taps going to boil with nat. gas from gas well. Tapped Sun. March 8 here in north east Pa. it was sure beautiful to get out. A lot of deep snow in the woods. Only about half the trees dripping a little but it will come was a very cold winter here. Can't hardly wait to taste. Happy tapping!!!

We started tapping on the 8th as well but it was such a cold winter in Northern NH that it just started dripping a little yesterday after 3 days above freezing.. Going to take a little for the trees to thaw. Have a great season.

Welcome to maple trader. I'm from south central Pa and I tapped a couple of trees on Sunday. Trees are starting to run a little. I think next week they might break open. Good luck on your season.
