Length of Tube from tree into bucket

Just looking for some advice on the length of tubing to use from the tapped tree down to the bucket.

I'm looking to use 5 gallon water jugs to collect the sap at the base of the tree.

I make all of my drops about 32". Some I run down to buckets like you are and then I have a few sections where 3 to 10 are tubed together into bigger jugs or tanks.
