Finally tapped here in Covington Twp. Put my taps in yesterday and today. They were flowing today as I installed the taps. Thought it would take a week to thaw the trees out like last year but they are flowing. Maybe a boil on Wed.

Mike, I'm doing OK. They were slow to thaw but ran like crazy Mon-Tue. Will have to wait and see what the next couple of weeks bring. My little unit just keeps getting faster I can't believe the numbers myself. I know you started slow also, did it pick up the last couple of days.

Plugging along I guess. Making some syrup but not near enough yet. Couple equipment failures already this year have made it interesting and costly startup. Hopefully we stay cold into April so I can approach a normal year. Whatever that is!,,,,
