Air hose as vac line?

I need to get my pump farther away from my shack. Too loud. Will an air hose from my compressor suffice as a vac line between the pump and the releaser?

What muffler you have on it also? With exhaust vented out shouldnt be bad

What kind of pump are you using? If it an rotary vane oil lubed pump, then adding an oil reclaimer to it will help with noise.

Air lines usually have a fairly small inside diameter. A small line can significantly restrict vacuum transfer. I don't know what you have for a pump, but you would almost certainly be better off use something as large as the pipe coming out of your pump or larger.
