bottle with corks

I am a small producer with just 105 taps and my question is this. My son is getting married this summer he would like to have me fill 100 heart shape bottles with syrup as wedding favors. These bottles seem to use corks vs a seal tight cap. Do I need to do anything special when useing cork?

If you do not keep the cork wet it will dry out and allow air inside and mold will start.

Many people seal them with coloured wax. Should be able to get it from mapleguys.com or your bottle dealer.
