hello all ,was wondering how important is to have the continuous flow evaporator completely level,i have evaporator on cinder bock fire box on ground no concrete pad yet.

Very important, just use some shims to level it up until you get the pad.

Make sure you have a stable base of some sort after leveling. In 2013 mine settled from firebox ground thaw and it became quite tilted and out of kilter. This is what I started with and it did not hold up. I was very disappointed.

Stable base. I dug a a hole 3 feet deep, poured a footer and laid block to support the firebox portion of the arch. Drilled a hole 3 foot deep under each leg and poured concrete. Still have seen the evaporator move a little about 1/4 to 3/8 inch out of level the last two years due to frost. It does make it trickier to make syrup, need to watch the levels.
