Hey guys,

I just had a 25"x60" continous flow pan built for my oil tank evaporator by a tin bender here ar work. He didn't weld the dividers all the way, just stitched them and you can see a slight gap here and there between divider and bottom of pan. Is this going to hurt anything as far as too much mixing? 2 dividers in sap area and 2 in the syrup pan.

Thanks

It will work just fine. Mine aren't very tight at all and I get a good gradient.

Thanks much, I am in scramble mode now that's one less thing I have to worry about .

I am of the opinion that completely sealed dividers are much better than leaky ones. Just my thoughts. Any pan with sap in it and fire under it will eventually make syrup.

From past experience you should seal the ones at the syrup end
