I have a flat 2ft x 4ft pan that is welded stainless. I want to add drop tubes to it but I am not good with metal. I have been looking for a year now for a 2x4 drop flue pan. Was hoping to find a decent used one but just never could find one and now it's too late to have one made. I am hoping that someone in the Southern NH area might know someone that I could pay to add some drop tubes to my pan. I have a front syrup pan, but this is my back pan that I want to mod. and it would be nice for it to really scream. Otherwise, I am going to be up for some really long hours. Boiling took forever last year and this year I have even more taps. I need to do something to get my surface area up or else I'll have to be hauling lots of sap out of here to someone else that knows how to properly prepare, haha. Thanks!!!!

You have a Mason, contact Bill Mason to see if he can help. He may be fully booked but the worst he can say is NO!

Yes the original MFG would be able to answer your questions. I agree that it may be tough to get into a fabricator schedule at this point good luck. You might try freezing the water out of some sap? Seems to be cold enough:)

Chris

I did call Bill Mason, basically just to see what it would cost to have him do it. He is way too busy right now, as I expected. Guess I was just hoping that there was some local fab shop that someone might know of with experience with maple stuff. Thanks for the replied though.
