Anyone use a face shield when firing? I picked one up from Menards last year and really warped it from the heat. Link: https://www.menards.com/main/see-more/maintenance-repair-operations/safety-security-equipment/personal-protective-equipment/eye-face-protection/faceshield/p-1691808-c-13851.htm

I'd like to find something to use this year.

Never really thought of that. Are you using it for protection from the heat or just to protect your eyes and face from flying debris and sparks?

Just the heat, really. I've got short little T-Rex arms and need to get fairly close to the firebox. :D

Maybe you can check with your local Fire Department.... They may have some old helmets with face shields
