Does anyone know of a recipe for the maple dip used on these double dipped maple peanuts. These things are insanely good, I just cannot find how to make the dip for them.

looking at the web site it is obvious that there is many other ingredients. So it is not just maple. So they are making a coating that does contain some maple syrup but also other ingredients and artificial flavors. It is probably the same principal for any other type of candy coating done on nuts. Not the same method for making pure maple coated nuts that is done by heating syrup up and stirring in, that method only puts a slight coverage on them.

could be any number of ways of coating. it almost looks as if they may dip these in a melted fondant. yet the price could suggest this is just a maple extract coating. just my .02

Yeah I know its not the typical maple coated nuts. Just was not sure if anyone happened to have a recipe on how to make the dip. Like you guys said, Im sure there are many other ingredients to make it. The coating is not crunchy, its almost like the consistency of something that is coated in chocolate...but it tastes like maple.
