I have a WSE 2x6 and it runs right at 30gph. I'd say your 2x4 should run right at 20gph. Last year we had 450 taps and we're putting 500 out this year. Wouldn't want any more than that. I'd like to switch the flue pan to a Max Flue for next season and eventually add a steam away and a hood over flue pan. Are you tapped yet? We're planning on tapping the last weekend of Feb. Good luck and have fun!

Leader's web site claims 20 -25 gph.

Some could get 15 gph out of it and others 25, it depends on wood quality and how you fire it.

i got 25-30 gph easy with good wood and a hood tight to the flue pan on my 2x6 WSE , im adding preheater and blower to bump it up some more, but im not sure how much more tho . the key to having good luck is good wood, firing in even intervals, keeping the fire side of the pan clean of soot build up, and proper stack length. atleast in my opinion

I have a Leader WSI 2x4. I used it last year on 130 taps. With dry wood I got about 21 gph, no blower or hood. 2 cords of mostly pine and hemlock slab wood from building my sugar house. Later in the season it was closer to 12 gph with wood that had been stored outside. I quit soon after that. This year i have 3 cords that dried under cover, 180 taps and a home made RO. Hopefully i will not run out of wood before sap.

Be sure to brush the under side of the flues clean before each boiling, and don't put too much sap in it. (Deeper the level, the lower the gph)
