Why don't one of you guys invent a vacuum bucket? Make it out of something that collapses real small under vacuum. When you go to pick up your sap you have a little vacuum pump on your sap tank trailer, have a little hinged thing that you open dump it in the tank, put back together, have a 4' piece of 5/16 sticking out of it, suck it down small and walk to the tree and put it on the tap and let it sit on the ground.

Theron,

You need some sap bad as you have too much time on your hands to think! LOL!

Put your bucket 30ft down the hill from your tree, connect with 3/16 tubing, vacuum bucket!

That's pretty smart. Lots of times you have some trees close together or several taps per tree just buy all 3/16 do like you said it really would work good. I always wanted to do that all over the place and drive around and get sap but gravity didn't figure it was worth it. Ill bet with the 3/16 really clean up if the area is hilly. Theron
