I love seeing home engineered rigs! I like how you built the door, I will have to build something similar on my setup. have you done a test boil yet?

Thanks guys! I used this setup last year, this year i just extended the firebox to accept another 3' pan, and increased the stack to 8". I haven't done a test boil yet, I am taking the pans this week to get the bungs for the transfer tube tigged in, then I can test boil.

Well here it is, just need to level the pans and float box, and take the pans to get the transfer tube rigged in

it is just a food thermometer I am getting a draw off thermometer this year(0-50) I think I got the one in the picture in walmart

Looks great. Is your draw off going to be far enough away from the evaporator to get a bucket or filter under it? I noticed mine is only a couple of inches, I was thinking about extending it.

Yes I have enough room to get a stainless floor milk pail in there,the two blocks under the draw off will be moved in even with the evaporator,I would love to have a cone filter stand--
