I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this but I am going to be installing a pump to return sap slightly uphill from a collection point to my sugar house via an existing 3/4" mainline. The line is about 2-300' long. I'd like to install a check valve by the pump so when it is not running it doesn't have all the head against it. My question is, can someone point me in the direction of one that will fit in the 3/4" mainline? I've seen threaded units but not ones that have the barbs on both sides.

It's possible you may need to use the threaded check valve and then use male adapters to convert it to barbed. Another option is glued PVC check and glue in barbed adapters, that will be cheaper most likely. How exactly do you want to run this, will the pump be pushing or pulling? If pulling you want to check your pump specs, but many will not pull prime or lift over 20-22' lift, some even less. Is you "slightly uphill" less than that?
