With info from this site, last year I experimented with a shurflow diaphragm pump on one of my pipelines with about 22 taps all on 5/16. I was extremely impressed and believe it improved my yield 50-75%. I would like to add another similar setup to increase my sap yield and simplify my collecting for a group of trees that are in a particularly difficult area to access. There would be about 28 taps on it but unfortunately they are space over a fairly large area (approx 400') with some but minimal slope. Will this be too long a run for 5/16" tubing?

Not in my opinion. Maybe not ideal but should work

Clinkis, I have some of my lats that are 5/16 that are 500 ft long with 35 taps on them and it seemed to work fine with my Guzzler.
