If you are heading to the CT Maple meeting on Jan. 10 and have some 5/16 taps for bag holders to sell give me a call. Also looking for tubing and fittings.

It definatly was. The concept is pretty simple just using water column to make your vac altho it requires good pitch to be effective. I have most of mine on reg vac already but am planning to buy a roll of 3/16 to adapt at one place thats only 3 taps and makes a substantial drop down to the barrel near the road.

well worth it to increase yield 50-60%. Being brand new to sugaring, this info will definitely help me in the future. I'll be at 40-50 taps this year.
