Bubbler

I would like to make a bubbler for my 2x2 drop flue pan. can I make it out of hard copper and solder it? how large should the holes be? should they blow down or up? would a garden pool pump be ok?

Yes and yes. 1/16" every inch down. Pool pump? I don't know what that is. On the big rigs they use a pump from a built in vacuum cleaner system that would be put in a home.
