Membrane question

What to do if your membrane sat in sap and fermented from last season. I dont have running water at my sugar house would it be ok just to start it up with fresh sap this year i really dont think i have a way to get clean water to the sugar house to clean the membrane before the biggining of the season. Is the membrane still usable? Thanks for advice.

The membrane is only one season old.

I would replace it. What did you do with the permeate from it that you didn't clean it after season? What size/model membrane
