I have found mold in some of my bottles of syrup. Just wondering if its safe to use.

A few questions first.
1. Did you make the syrup?
2. You planning to keep it for personal use or sell it?
3. Anyone in your family allergic to molds?

I did make the syrup
It is for personal use
As far as I know no

Heat it back up in a saucepan. The molds will float to the top, skim them off.

The old recommendation was to skim off the mold, reheat and refilter. The newer guideline is to discard the syrup. If you made it, it is for your own personal household use, and nobody in your family is allergic to mold, then you can do the skim, reheat, and refilter as long as you are comfortable with it.
