This is a good one. Yes for the first time I made my own brine. Just didnt dump any of our precious syrup in! Used that to marinate thick pork chops(add a bit of extra light olive oil) then let them soak for overnight. We started off with venison marinated with my own dressing. Fresh potatoes from our garden. Everything turned out very nice. Hope everyone had a great day.
