I have a leader elite 700 ro that had 1 60 inch 8 inch membrane in it , I had the pressure vessel stretched to hold 2 40s but I didn't gain much more flow . I think ive got to put a bigger supply pump on it as its only a 1 horse. Leader wants big money for a 3 horse that they say should be on it.Does anyone know who makes and model of leaders supply pumps for a 1000 gallon a hr ro? There is not even a name on them. I know leader gets them from d&g but im sure they get them from someone else. CDL uses goulds e-sv models but im told that a goulds will not have enough pressure to run a leader ro as leader takes more pressure to supply it than cdl does .

What pressure do you need on this supply pump?

From what ive gathered I need 100 psi and run 30 gpm in order to run a goulds pump I will have to have a 5 hp ,the pump leader/d&g uses is only 3hp the 5 hp is enough bigger I will have rewire the ro witch I guess isn't the end of the world
