Gasket Adhesive

I have 1x1/2 angle iron rails holding my pan up. What could I use to cement the flat gasket on? I tried furnace cement but it only stuck to the rail. The gasket sticks to my pan when I raise it to drain it then falls off into the fire box. Thanks In Advance

I used the red high heat silicon.

A little bit of syrup and fire it up. Sticks like a charm.

Most any auto store will have it.

I never use anything however I am going with the woven gasket this year.
