What is this part for? New CDL hobby evap

Hey guys. I got my first real evap, an 18"x60" CDL unit. It came with two of these:

Anyone know what they're for?

That is a plug, to be inserted into a 1 1/2 inch port from the inside of the pan. It's purpose is so you can dismantle some of the plumbing without emptying the pan, like to switch draw-off sides.

Well I'll be jiggered! Right on. And I was wondering how I was going to take things apart without making a mess. Thanks for the clarification.
