Poorly...not good for color blind people. I would take that as you are in the state of VT and this location sells Pure maple syrup.
Does not say it is VT Maple, I like the green of the state for the Green Program Followers.
Needs some editing.

I read it as it is top to bottom. State of Vermont Pure Maple Syrup Sold Here. As it could be a place that sells Vermont Pure Maple Syrup not necessarily in Vermont. Simple and to the point.

I have never liked that design. It looks like the state of VT is urinating into a bucket.

General, that has been discussed at state level and I believe a new design is pending.

Saw this under some list of bad marketing ads, which I have to agree, not the most well thought out drawing. My intention was to in no way blast Vermont or their maple syrup.

Too hard, I thought that was a good thing, not a bad thing....or did you mean harsh:lol:

Yeah, that is bad marketing at its best. I'm surprised that it made it to production, and then again to the distribution stage. Hopefully it will go away soon.

When I first saw that sign I thought it was a spoof.
Then I realize reading this thread it really is a VMSA sign!
Unbelievable.
I almost suspect a subversive intent by someone who didn't expect it to make it production, but then did.
Kind of like the Korean Air announcement. "Here, read this on the air." And surprise! It really did make it to production.
In case you never saw it:

The Vermont syrup sign is a blooper of similiar magnitude. :o
Since the sign has the VMSA seal on it, I guess my dues helped pay for design and production of that, huh?
