wondering if folks have a source for the stainless pegs that are used to anchor blanket inside the fire box of an arch?
I have seen them in some maple catalogs but wondering if there are other sources.

Eric,
I tack-welded SS 10-24 nuts to the base metal, then made studs (1 1/2 long?) from 10-24 threaded rod, all SS. The fire eroded the outer nuts, washers and some of the stud, but all the studs unscrewed real easy when I changed the blanket. This time, I dabbed the ends of the nuts/studs/washers with furnace cement in an effort to prolong their life. And actually, the blanket seemed to grip the studs and stayed in place even after the outer ends of the fasteners were destroyed.
