Stack Installation

I am planning my stack installation in my building and I have a 8/12 pitch. The building's peak is 15' and the stack will be placed 3-4 feet to one side of the peak. What does everyone recommend for roof jack systems that will protect the rafters and roof deck from heat. Do I need double wall all the up, or just to pass through the deck. There is nothing in the way from deck to the floor. The stack needs to be 2' above the ridge by the way. I wanted to see if there was an economical solution that didn't require buying a large quantity of double wall stainless steel chimney pipe. Thanks

Check with the Amish. Couple of good stainless men in the conewango area that make roof jacks very cheap.

I covered all my trusses on both sides of the stack and purlings on roof with ceramic blanket out couple feet past stack on each side 9 years ago and it has always worked great.
