Anyone from Canada, please reply if you know the answer to this. Or even someone from the states if you know.

I have a co-worker who is in Alberta, Canada. I have been asked to send him 2 pints of syrup from Ohio. don't worry, I dont think I'm going to take over the market.

would I be breaking any Canadian laws, federal (Crown?)or provincial.
would I be breaking any US laws?

Havent had time to research much, so if anyone has a link or has done this before please let me know.

Thanks

no worries...I have shipped and tranported 100s of gallons of syrup between us and canada. You will be asked to fill out a customs form at the USPS and just list contents as "maple syrup" - no problems

When you fill out the custom form list it as a gift.
